The history of Château Batailley dates back to the 1700s, when it was owned by the Borie family, who were also proprietors of the famous Château Ducru-Beaucaillou. Today, the estate is run by the Borie family’s fifth generation, and the vineyards span over 55 hectares of gravelly soils with a high percentage of limestone.
