René Lequin-Colin is a small winery located in Santenay, in the heart of the Cote de Beaune region of Burgundy, France. The winery is named after its founder, René Lequin-Colin, who established the estate in 1971. Today, the winery is run by his son, François Lequin, and his wife, Caroline Colin.
The winery owns 9 hectares of vineyards, with parcels located in some of the most prestigious appellations of the Cote de Beaune, including Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, and Santenay. The vineyards are cultivated using sustainable and organic methods, with a focus on preserving the natural balance of the soil and the environment.
René Lequin-Colin produces a range of white and red wines, with a particular emphasis on Chardonnay. The white wines are made using traditional Burgundian winemaking techniques, with fermentation and aging in oak barrels.
